			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<div class="mceTemp">The OGCPFS began a new Senior awards program in 2009.  These awards were recently given out to 4 individuals and 2 programs.  The individual awards were given to:</div>
<p>Clara Williams, 91 years old from Lincoln City, who works out daily as well as getting others involved. She also line dances 3 days a week.</p>
<p>Gillia Peruzzo, 101 years old from The Dalles, who is still very active and an inspiration to others.</p>
<p>Alyce Stephens and Dick Waterman who are both septuagenarians from Hillsboro, who are very active and responsible for getting other seniors involved in various activities.</p>
<p>The 2 Program awards are to:</p>
<p>Touchmark at Mt Bachelor Village, Bend:  A full service program involving individual  counseling and tracking, partnering with local medical and sports professionals and facilities other than their own in promoting active lifestyles and enrichment.</p>
<p>The Springs at Tanasbourne, Hillsboro: Another full service program for all its community members that has a very high participation rate. It includes up to date facilities and qualified instructors.</p>
